San E was featured as a guest in the Mar. 10 broadcast of the SBS PowerFM show "Kim Chang Ryul's Old School." He apparently took the place of Kim Chang Ryul, who is doing a performance in the United States. After a listener requested for the song "Some," San E revealed that he actually received a request to do the rap portion of this song.

Incidentally, according to Soompi, Lil Boi ended up doing it. "Some" did become a wildly popular K-pop song that featured SISTAR's Soyou, vocalist Junggigo, and rapper Lil Boi of Geeks. For all we know, it might have sounded a lot different based on the new revelation from rapper San E.

San E further said that he did not decline the offer because the song was so good. But too late, when he was about to say yes, the producers have already finished recording it. Rapper Basick then asked him if he regretted not doing it. "Yes. The royalties..." San E reportedly honestly replied.

Jung San, according to AllAboutKorea, more commonly known by his stage name San E, is a rapper under the wings of Brand New Music. He was formerly tied to JYP Entertainment, where he was the agency's first solo rapper. He is one of the most successful rappers in the conventional Korean music. In April 2013, San E ended his contract with JYP Entertainment, saying that he was leaving on good terms with the agency. That June, he joined hip hop Brand New Music, home to his Overclass crew mate, Verbal Jint.

San E experienced his first number one hit on the Gaon Digital Chart with the song, "Story of Someone I Know," from the album "Not' Based on the True Story." His next three singles, "Where Did You Sleep?" "Break-Up Dinner," and "What's Wrong With Me," all accordingly reached the top ten of the Gaon Digital Chart.
