BIGBANG has surely proved itself to be one of the biggest K-pop groups, not only in Korea, but throughout the whole world as well. Since its debut in Aug. 19, 2006, the group has achieved great success in the entertainment industry, all with the help of its members, Taeyang, T.O.P., Daesung, G-Dragon and Seungri.
However, it's not just all about the music, as the group also had their own share of success in TV shows and various films. T.O.P., who is also known in the name of Choi Seung-hyun, has been contributed a lot to the success of the group.
He is now 29 years old, and throughout his career, he has achieved great successes in rapping, as well as in various TV shows and movies. One of his most successful projects are "I'm Sam" and "Commitment. Meanwhile, "Out of Control" also topped the box office charts.
According to Hello K-Pop, T.O.P. is even compared to Matt Damon, due to his involvement in the gambling community. However, he approached the gambling world in a cool and sophisticated way.
Meanwhile, here is Seungri, the closest rival of T.O.P. who had his own successes in his films, "Family Outing", "Running Man" and "Haru: An Unforgettable Day in Korea".
Taeyang, who also takes the name of Dony Young-bae, also has his own share of BIGBANG's success. According to Korea Portal, after having his role in the hit TV series, "Running Man", alongside G-Dragon, he surely had brought the popularity of BIGBANG to a whole new level.
Truly, BIGBANG is not just a one-man group, but it is the result of the teamwork that its members have contributed to the group. Even though they have their own respective solo careers, all of their successes in the industry contribute to the overall popularity and success of BIGBANG.
