With the competition in the Kpop music scene growing more fierce as groups release new material almost on a daily basis, it seems that some unscrupulous individuals are taking the friendly competition to a different territory. Big Hit Entertainment's official website has been hacked by unidentified entities.

According to a report by SBS Pop Asia , the hackers attacked the Notice Page of the music group's website which contained information about BTS's latest MV "Not Today." At the bottom of the page, Big Hit also embedded the youtube video of the newly released single.

However, the culprits hacked into the website and replaced the embedded video with that of Twice's "Knock "Knock" which also released on the same day as "Not Today." While the police and Big Hit have yet to make an official statement regarding the incident, fans are already speculating who could be behind the attack on the site.

Some speculation are alleging that the site was hacked by Twice fans who want to drive more traffic towards the "Knock Knock" MV. However, there are also those who strongly believe that it could be someone who just wants to instigate a fan war between the fandoms of BTS and Twice.

The competition for the most number of views on youtube between the two groups has been a running issue for two of the hottest Kpop idol groups for some time although both groups seem to be taking it all in stride. It can be recalled that BTS's "Spring Day" recently overtook the record by Twice's "TT" for the fastest time to reach 30 million views on the streaming site, Soompi reported.

In return, fans of Twice reiterated their strength when the girls dropped their latest MV for "Knock Knock" on Sunday and quickly set the new record for the most number of views in 24 hours. BTS's A.R.M.Y., for their part, went into action resulting in BTS regaining the record in only a few hours.
